Many Tuesdays ago I started that feature on my website. One of the first ladies who agreed to showcase her work here was the lovely Bree M. Lewandowski. If you have missed her duet Under Winter Lights/Under Midnight Lights you should fix that mistake as soon as possible. Especially if you love beautiful, lyrical prose, ballet, and fairytales. Blurb: Granted the opportunity to model for world-famous yet reclusive artist Edgar, journalist Janelle Ryan thinks she’s finally landed the story of her career. What she doesn’t realize is that by staying at Edgar’s famous “Art House,” her focus shifts from the news story to experiencing an unexpected personal awakening of her mind, body, and soul.
As a consequence, painful emotions she’s been repressing for years begin to reemerge. Facing her demons head on, she realizes what is most important to her – how to forgive, and most importantly, how to love again.

My first novel Unorthodox Therapy is finished, the first draft was edited and I’m waiting for my beloved beta readers to draw some blood and whip it into perfection. In the next one month you can expect one casual party at which I’ll reveal the cover. The design is almost done and I’ll start working on the media kit and blurb soon. And if everything goes smoothly it may be released for pre-order at the beginning of May. That is also when the official release date as well as my party will be announced.
Since it is Friday I thought you may appreciate a little gift – hint of what is to come in terms of writing and design. Follow my blog to keep up to date with all the events.

Those of you who follow my blog and releases know that for the past three months I have been working on my debut full-length novel, Unorthodox Therapy – psychological erotic suspense with elements of BDSM and thriller. I’m proud and pleased to announce that on February the 3rd I finalized the first draft. There is still a lot of work to do before the book is ready for release but the foundation has been set. Writing that manuscript has been pretty emotional and intense experience and I still can’t believe how far it went from the initial idea. It was meant to be a short story that grew into an idea of a longer novella. By the end of October I decided that the relationship at the base of Unorthodox Therapy is too complex and deserves a better development thus I finally started writing the novel. But now, at the end of the journey I’m not quite ready to say goodbye. All I’m going to say is that there are at least two more books of the same series that are brewing in my mind at the moment.
I hope that you are somewhere out there and actually read and get excited whenever I surprise you by keeping my news and information on stories updated. In case you are, remember that I always appreciate hearing back and being reassured I’m not talking to myself.
So, 2015 has been a pretty good year for me. It was filled with both joy, pain, personal growth as well as loss. Certain people I really cared for left my life and others stepped in and brought me their friendship and support. Above all, I’m happy that I went back to writing and finally dared to enter the cutthroat world of self-publishing.
Some time ago I had announced my intention to publish a novella entitled Unorthodox Therapy. Well, I had my best intentions, it would have been a short and sweet one, with one main long sex scene and some character development. I had written the layout and the first 5 pages. But my characters got mad at me and refused to co-operate. They insisted for a better story, better build up of their intense chemistry and complicated relationship. So, what should a writer do? I changed my plans and Unorthodox Therapy would be a novel. I am currently at the first quarter and succeeded in setting up a good working schedule, most of all thanks to National Novel Writing Month. And if I stay in such a shape I’d be finished with the rough draft by the end of the year. I want to use the moment to find good souls who love erotica with a pinch of romance and don’t shy away from intense scenes. Once the novel is written it would definitely need to be whipped into good shape and perfected.
