#WIPITUP Wednesday – A Romantic Walk In The Fog #BDSM #Unorthodox Chemistry

wipitup.jpgHey there, readers and fellow writers, I hope you enjoyed the week since our last meeting. I had a pretty intense writing weekend and at the moment my manuscript is nearly 87k (Oh damn, editing will be fun, so much to cut!) and I finished one of the main acts of the novel. My characters have been stuck at that BDSM club forever so all of us are happy to move on to the next section of the story. So, here is a little romantic walk between Thomas and Lina that might give you a hint where I’ll take them next.

Unorthodox Chemistry is Book 2 of The Unorthodox Trilogy, a sequel to Unorthodox Therapy. Unless life gets in the way I should finish it by the end of October and it will go live by February 18th, 2018. The cover is temporary.

Finally, the cold air overwhelmed us and we stopped to rest by one of the traffic lights. I leaned against the hard column and pulled her close to me for a long kiss.

What are you thinking of?” I brushed her hair and marveled at her bright eyes for a minute.

Something silly…She smiled and touched my forearm through the shirt. “You’re freezing, enough with that gentleman act, we can share that jacket until we get back to the club.”

I’m fine, Lina, you are more at risk of freezing to death in that dress. Now… tell me what is going in your head.”

I was thinking of our trip to my oceanside house.”

I frowned.

Lina, we never went there. Something was always coming up and we kept postponing it until it was too late.”

I know, Thomas. I just wish we had done it. It would have left us with a beautiful memory.”

That was the moment when it struck me how little time we had to be a normal couple before we split. In the past, there was always a risk that someone could see us so we avoided going together anywhere. We spent most of the time in my house or her apartment, always in full discretion. Back then I couldn’t care less because all that mattered was that I was with the woman I loved.

Right then, on this cold street, while we were facing the unknown I wished we had more time to be simply dating without all that anxiety getting in the way.

Me too.” I kissed her lips again. “Sometimes I fantasize about what it would be if we went there.

I was thinking… is it really too late for it?Her voice was faltering but I could see the growing decision in her eyes. “We can still go there and have one last weekend together.”

That was the last I expected of her so I stood there, unable to process those words. The possibilities rolled before my eyes like a film reel. It was so tempting to give in to that escape. We could leave as early as now and we’d be there even before the sun had risen.

Her boyfriend, our nightmares, Seth, the mess that we left at The Fortress, all of that could stay behind.

There was just one problem.

We couldn’t.

Lina must have sensed my hesitation. Instead of backing down, she continued with even more of a zeal.

Why not, Thomas? Do we really have anything left to lose at that point? I… I don’t want to spend the rest of my life wondering if we shouldn’t have tried again. At least that way…” She leaned against my chest and grabbed me by the shirt. “If we end up splitting for good this time… I don’t want our last memory as a couple to be full of drama and despair.”

Again, not polished but nothing that my kick ass beta readers and editor can’t fix. Now, I’d like to invite you to WIP IT UP Headquarters to check what the other authors have been up to.
