Hello my lovelies and welcome to another Wednesday. They just fly, don’t they?
Here I am with another teaser of Unorthodox Union. Current word count: 130k but I still have a lot of story to go through before typing THE END. It looks like I’ll have to write the final chapters after my small holiday.
Still, there’s plenty of time until Saturday so who knows.
This week I have something more romantic, from Lina’s point of view.
Unorthodox Union is the final installment of the Unorthodox Trilogy and should come out in the Fall of 2018. Book 1 – Unorthodox Therapy and 2 – Unorthodox Chemistry are available on Amazon.
(Don’t judge the book by its cover, this one is temporary.)
LINA
“We made such great memories in that room, didn’t we?” He murmured. “As if it was just yesterday when I did the first health inspection and spanked you over your desk.”
“I wouldn’t say so.” The memory of that first time we broke the rules right here sent a hot wave of excitement through me. My clit throbbed against the panties and I squeezed my thighs while Thomas was regarding me with a wolfish grin. “It felt like a lifetime ago. I don’t think we’re the same people anymore.”
“… and yet, here we are.” Thomas crossed the distance between us with his feline step and reached out to caress my face. “The same office, the same building… and you will soon be my boss again. Some things don’t change. To be honest, I don’t mind it at all.”
I leaned in his palm and nuzzled it. All the shared moments we had in here, both rough and tender, rushed back in my mind.
“You’re right but still, some things have to change or we’ll be forever stuck in the past.” The moment I uttered these words it all became clear to me as if a lightning struck me… or some of his TENs Units. The excitement was rushing like a drug through my system mixed with a heavy dose of fear. The kind of fear that makes us feel alive and just adds to the salt of life.
Thomas nodded and kept sliding fingers through my hair with that affectionate look in his eyes. “You’re right, I could think of some changes I’d love… but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of sneaking in here to punish you. Where is the fun without a little danger?”
“I can think of one particular change you’d love,” I smirked at him and ran fingers over his wrist with a teasing smile.
“I’m all ears.” He raised an eyebrow and his grin grew wider. A gleam of curiosity was twinkling in his eyes.
“Well…” I drawled and moved my fingers to the back of his neck so I’d enjoy the way his hairs raised as I scratched him lightly. “You offered me to move in with you one month ago. Is that offer still standing?”
His eyes widened behind the glasses. Thomas blinked a few times, held his breath and pulled me from behind the desk, close to his body.
“Are you serious? You really want it?” A wide smile lit up his face and he lifted me up in the air. “You know it’s always standing for you, tigress.”
Our laughter joined in a peculiar duet of happiness and we shared a passionate kiss. Anxieties and doubts melted in that champagne of pure, bubbling joy I felt on the inside, too intense and a little scary. Thomas finally put me down. His palms brushed my cheekbones and he held my face without a single word.
“So when can I move in?” I asked him and fluttered my eyelashes, a little gesture that always made him laugh. It wasn’t very typical of me and that both amused and turned him on.
“Hmm… That will be such a hard process.” He raised his eyes to the ceiling. A small, wicked grin was curling his lips. “I suppose it won’t take less than three large trucks to move in only your clothes.”
He hurried to answer before I have had the chance to slap him. “How about yesterday? No, seriously, the sooner I have you in my home the better. We waited long enough. So… what helped you finally make up your mind?”
“I used to do a lot of things that scared me before as I told you when we met. Things I wanted but I was also afraid to do because the failure could lead to a lot of pain. The risk would usually pay off… and I refuse to live with all my old intimacy issues. I want to give us a chance.” I uttered while I was enjoying his touch.
He nodded and rested his hand under my chin. “You always had a way with words, Lina. So… do you still keep some of the things we used around here? Like that leather paddle at the top of your drawer?”
“Ah, Thomas, what a fantastic memory you have.” I chuckled and reached out to pull the drawer. The black leather was still resting under a stack of paper, a place where I used to store all my emergency cigarettes. When I pulled it out by its handle and dangled it before his eyes Thomas beamed.
“Are you up for a dose of old-fashioned office discipline before we head back to the boardroom? You know, as an early home warming gift.”
