Hello, everyone, writers and readers or simply WIP fans. It’s been a long and emotional week of writing but I think I’m finally getting back in full working rhythm. Here is a little peak into Chapter 11 and one of the most emotional moments between my characters. The cover is temporary.
Unorthodox Chemistry is Book 2 of The Unorthodox Trilogy. Today is your last chance to get your copy of Book 1 while it is still on sale for 99 cents .
THOMAS
“Thomas, grow up,” Lina said and wiped her cheek. I ran the paddle across her inner thigh, not yet smacking, simply tracing the streak of wetness smearing it. My right hand wrapped around her throat. “Do you really think you can whip the past year… more than a year of suffering out of me? Do you think you can make it up for all the shame I felt?”
“Lina…” My fingers went back to pinching her nipples. I brought my face closer to hers and whispered again. “I’ll do whatever it takes to bring you back in line and back to your senses. To sanity. If you want to hate me…” I swallowed these words. “Then, by all means, hate me, but at least hate me for the things I’ve done, not for imaginary crimes that exist in your head.”
“You no longer own me.” She stated simply.
The moment I heard those words I grabbed her by a lock of her hair and brought her down to her knees. The heated phase of my sickness withdrew to give place to the coldness. When I placed the oval part of the paddle under Lina’s chin and once again enforced eye contact between us the tears she’s been holding back spilled down her cheeks. They left fresh stains of makeup down her face, two black lines that grew bigger the more she was crying.
“Make no mistake, pet. I own you.” I spoke those words with confidence but on the inside, some terrified voice begged me to slow down. What the hell? That was not how it was supposed to go… “It doesn’t matter if you will see me again after tonight.” The paddle pressed hard against her chin and forced more tears out of her. “You’ll always be mine. Just accept it. You might leave in that minute, you might beg him to take you away, to move with him on the other end of the planet. I left my mark on your life. You can’t change that more than you can change your DNA.”
Wrong. My thoughts were making me dizzy, saying that out loud felt terrifying but I couldn’t stop the words.
So wrong.
It’s still pretty raw but like I love to say, that’s what editing is for. Now go to WIP IT UP Headquarters for more snippets of future awesome work.

Aww! I hope that Lina accepts Thomas. It sounds like they were so close before. They can be close again! Great snippet, Lilah!
